Every year, at the end of April, the tulips bloom again. One year maybe earlier, another year maybe later. In autumn the tulip bulbs have been planted deep in the ground and to protect them against the cold they also get a snug straw-blanket. The flowering season is dependent on the temperature in autumn, winter, and the early spring. At the tulip festival in Flecoland more than 2000 different kinds of tulips can be seen.
And last weekend, we got to juggle between the tens of thousands of tulips, how awesome! It can’t get any Dutcher than this!
